We'll Miss You Mom!

Yesterday was a very sad day for our family. My mother-in-law passed away yesterday morning on valentines day. We knew it was coming, but we didn't expect it to come so soon. She touched many lives and will be missed deeply by everyone who knew her!

Born in Grand Rapids, MI on Aug. 22, 1952
Departed on Feb. 14, 2008 and resided in Cutlerville, MI.

Visitation: Saturday, February 16, 2008 & Sunday, February 17, 2008
Service: Monday, February 18, 2008

DEBOER, "Loie" Lois DeBoer, age 55 of Cutlerville, was welcomed home to be with her Lord and Savior, February 14, 2008. She now rests peacefully in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Preceding her into glory were her parents Ted and Billie DeBoer. Loie's loving memory will be cherished by her devoted husband of 34 years, Gord; her children and grandchild, Scott and Katie DeBoer (Nicholas and baby), Julie DeBoer, and Susie DeBoer. She is survived by her loving brothers and sister; Jerry and Deb DeBoer and family, Bruce and Cindy DeBoer and family, Marilyn Leech and family; and her special cousin Jim and Marilyn Niewiek and their family and several brothers and sisters-in-law.

A service celebrating Loie's life will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Covenant Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Kurt Walters officiating. Burial will take place in Winchester Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Saturday and Sunday 6 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center, 2067 84th St. SW. If you are unable to attend the service or visitation please sign the family's Memory Book at www.cookfuneralservices.com.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
