Grandpa's Boat

Saturday we went out to my Dad's boat in Grand Haven and cruised up to Muskegon for dinner. Nicholas was in love with the boat and all of it's buttons and wheels! It was definitely not a relaxing trip for Scott and me since we were chasing him around the whole time - up and down the stairs - and pulling him away from all the buttons he couldn't touch. We all had a good time, but Nicholas had the most fun. Grandpa even let him drive the whole way back (on auto pilot) and he thought he really was the captain!

Up and down the stairs...
Driving the boat...
Sitting nicely (for a few seconds anyway) by the other Nick...
Daddy getting him again...
Grand Haven lighthouse...
Captain Nicholas & Grandpa...
Grandpa showing him all of the gadgets...
The beautiful sunset...

Oh wow.... what beautiful images. That sunset... jeez, it should come with a health warning it's too good. You can totally see how much fun he's having being 'captain' and exploring!

Wow, that sunset is amazing! And only you could get the seagull in there too!
Nicholas looks like a natural captain. All he needs is a captain cap! That's one hat he doesn't have.
You definately had a beautiful day!
Love you, Mom

That is the coolest sunset picture ever! How did you ever get that seagull to be in the perfect spot!

I love how it looks like you plucked the seagull from his little bird family and stuck him in there...awesome...
